Protection of Trees on Development Sites

Tree that have been identified for retention require general and specific measures to be implemented so that they can be protected throughout all phases of development.

 A Tree Protection Plan can be prepared so that the developer, site supervisor or other delegated authority can ensure that the correct procedures are followed before, during and after the development for the protection of trees.

 All reports are prepared in accordance with Australian Standard 4970 - 2009

Tree Protection Plans usually include:

·         Assessment of tree condition before commencement of development

·         Establishment of Tree Protection Zones and Structural Roots Zones (if applicable)

·         Tree Protection Zone Specification 

Tree Protection Zones established for protection of trees on development sites
